1. Vision
The vision of the Gram Panchayat is a broad, long-term dream of what the area should become in the future.
Objective:
To achieve the long-term goal of transforming the Panchayat into a model village with comprehensive and sustainable development that ensures a better quality of life for all citizens.
Examples:
Complete sanitation and a healthy living environment.
An eco-friendly village that preserves greenery and ensures the availability of adequate water resources.
A poverty-free society that ensures access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for everyone.
2. Mission
The mission explains what the Panchayat is currently doing and how it operates to achieve its vision.
Objective:
To define the key goals and methods of action required to turn the vision into reality.
Examples:
People's participation in planning: Understand people's needs through Ward Sabhas and Gram Sabhas and prepare development plans accordingly.
Efficient services: Provide Panchayat services to the public quickly through online systems and transparent governance.
Infrastructure development: Improve the quality of roads, drinking water facilities, electricity, public educational institutions, and healthcare centres.
Sustainable livelihoods: Promote agriculture and small-scale industries to ensure local economic growth.
